Most everyone dreams of being a superhero when they are young, whether it was Batman, Superman, a Jedi, Wonder Woman, Spiderman or any other superhero. I remember vividly when I was very young, I wanted to be like Popeye. I begged my mom to get me some of that spinach so I could eat it and become just as powerful and muscular as Popeye. I remember trying to eat my first can of spinach and it tasted so nasty. Needless to say, I threw that dream out the window because nothing happened to me. All of these superheroes are fictional by nature, but there is a superhero that is real and his name is Jesus.  Jesus, God’s Son came to the earth for this reason. 1 John 3:8 King James Version (KJV) 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. The entire human race is infected by a disease called “sin” and there is no human cure for it.  Jesus the spotless, sinless Son of God came to redeem mankind back to a right relationship with the Father.
